New England and New York - a family visit expanded

I 2008 Dorte and I decided to visit New York City. We would stay for about 3 og 4 days, then go to Southold on the North Fork of Long Island to visit Dorte's father, Carl's cousin Eva (then 92) and her husband Bill (then 85). As our planning went on, the trip expanded, into a visit to Eva and Bill, followed by a road trip in New England, another visit at Eva and Bill's and the finally a four day stay in New York City. This is the stories of this trip.

A visit in Southold and the New London ferry
A lot of wooden ships (A visit to Mystic Seaport, Connecticut)
Two days in Boston, Massachusetts
The only national park in New England
A short visit to Canada
Last of the Mohicans
Westpoint and Wine
Four days in New York City - and then home
